Michael Dean Bowman, age 56, of 117 Dillard Court, Eden passed away on Wednesday evening at his home.
A memorial service will be held at 6 PM on Sunday, November 23, at Osborne Baptist Church.
Michael was born September 1, 1958 in Leaksville to the late Fred and Patsy Bowman. He was a commerical painter and roofer.
He is survived by a son, Michael Shane Bowman and wife Meggan;daughters, Jinna Marie Bowman and Karen Michelle Porter and husband Travis; brothers, Fred "Chopper" Bowman, Jr. and Allen "Ray" Bowman; sisters, Risa Gibbs and Christy Bowman; 9 grandchildren.

Hey Daddy, it's me, your oldest daughter, Jinna, Daddy's Girl. As you already know, from all my countless hours of prayers, I'm still so sad, broken hearted, and lost. I sit here and find myself writing this to you, 7 years, 8 months, 3 weeks, & 6 days ago and Daddy it hasn't ever gotten any easier...I haven't been able to learn how to deal with it... Daddy, on that fateful day... Wednesday, November -19-2014 @ 2:01pm...God called you home, & took the biggest piece of my heart, when you left us. And I know, you are in a better place, no more pain, & suffering, No more sickness, cancer, nor medications.
