Jack Thomason Fleming, Sr. age 88 of 532 Briarwood Drive, Eden passed away at his home on Tuesday evening, November 18, 2014.
A funeral service will be held 2 pm Saturday at First Baptist Church of Eden with burial to follow at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Fleming was born April 7, 1926 in Leaksville to the late Paul and Eva Thomason Fleming. He was a graduate of Leaksville High School and later graduated from Mars Hill College. Jack was a lifetime member of the Leaksville Masonic Lodge #136, and a longtime active member of the First Baptist Church in Eden. Jack was a licensed Private Pilot and a retired General Contractor.
Preceding him in death along with his parents was his wife, Frances Kiger Fleming.
Surviving are sons, J. Thomason "Tommy" Fleming, Jr. and Michael Fleming and wife Cathy all of Eden; daughter, Janet Fleming of Burlington; grandchildren, Justin and Beth Lowder, David, Brandon and Scotty Fleming; sister, Elizabeth Fleming Pace of Eden.
The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to service from 1 till 2 pm and other times at the home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church, 533 Greenwood Street, Eden, NC 27288
