Dear Family, Jean was a wonderful and dedicated lady to God, her family and friends. She was a pleasure to work with and to know. I know she is with The Lord and living a life with her Lord that she served so faithfully.

Please accept my sincere sympathy at the passing of your mother. After moving to Greensboro, I did not have contact with Jean and had no idea she was in the nursing home. I just want you to know what a lovely person I thought she was. I worked with her briefly in the 50's and we enjoyed much time together. I was blessed to have her sing at my wedding on Dec. 19, 1953.
