Dorothy Robertson Canady, age 85 of Greensboro, passed away Sunday, November 9, 2014.
A graveside service will be held 2 pm Thursday at Overlook Cemetery.
She was born August 20, 1929 to the late John D. Robertson and Annie Hopper Robertson Lee. Mrs. Canady was a member of Vandalia Presbyterian Church and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death along with her parents by her husband, William M. Canady, Sr. and five brothers, J.D., Bill, Jack, Joe, and Paul and 1 sister, Louise Gray.
Surviving are son, William Mack Canady, Jr. and wife Debby of Greensboro; daughters, Linda C. Drye and husband Charlie of Lexington and Sue Ann C. Lee and husband David of Myrtle Beach, SC; 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Mack and family, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. Mack, I'm not sure if you remember me, but my mother, Louise Talley Walker, and Dot were friends; and, I remember you and your mother visiting us when we were quite young. My mother passed away in 2000. Remembering you and your family in my prayers.
