James Harold Gosnell, Sr., 90, of 912 Washington Street in Eden, passed away November 4, 2014, at his home.
A graveside memorial service will be held at ****2 PM**** on Thursday, November 6, at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens. The Rockingham County Veteran's Honorguard will be performing military rites.
Mr. Gosnell was born March 24, 1924 in Schoolfield, VA, to the late James Frank Gosnell and Maude Esther Dickson Gosnell. He was a US Army veteran.
He is survived by his son, William Gosnell and wife, Carol, of Dry Fork, VA; grandchildren, Matthew Scott Gosnell, Michael Shawn Gosnell, Ronnie D. Walker,Tina, Jimmy, George, Billy, Vanessa, and Patrick Gosnell; numerous great-grandchildren; and brother, Frank Gosnell of Yuma, Arizona.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Brown Gosnell; two sons, James "Butch" Harold Gosnell, Jr. and Charles C. Gosnell; brothers, Floyd and Frank Gosnell; and sisters, Virginia Grear and Ruth Kuper.
