Blanche "Nanny" Beal Wilson, beloved mother and grandmother, 77, passed away Saturday evening, October 25, 2014, at Morehead Memorial Hospital in Eden.
A funeral service will be held at 4 PM on Tuesday, October 28, at the Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Lawson Cemetery in Eden.
Mrs. Wilson was born March 7, 1937 in Rockingham County, NC, to the late William and Bertha Barker Beal.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara McCullar and husband, Nathan, of Eden; two granddaughters, Mary Boyd and husband, Joseph, and Judy Sizemore and husband, Jason, of Eden; four great grandchildren, Hailie and Leah Sizemore, of Eden, and Jason and Jacob Reynolds, of Reidsville; four nephews, Thomas, Randy, and Bobby Bullins, of Eden, and David Daniels, of Eden; niece Patricia Snyder, of Texas.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fount Wilson; sister, Viola Carter; brother, Charlie Beal; and great grandson, Tyler Sizemore.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Tuesday (3 - 4 PM) at the Fair Funeral Home Chapel and other times at the home of her daughter Barbara McCullar at 917 Lincoln Street in Eden.

I hate that Nanny has passed. We will all miss her more than words could ever say. She was such a kind and generous woman. May God be with our family through this tough time. She will always be remembered!
