Billy Moore Brown, Jr., 72, of Eden, passed away Thursday morning, October 9, 2014, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, October 11, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Overlook Cemetery.
Mr. Brown was born April 12, 1942 in Leaksville, NC, to the late Billy Moore Brown, Sr. and Gertie Odell Brown. He attended Meadow View Methodist Church. Mr. Brown was a retired graphic artist.
He is survived by his daughter, Tammy Pancake and husband, Bryan of Delphi, Indiana; two sons, William Thomas Brown and wife, RayAnn of Madison and Terry Lee Brown and JoAnn Pilsner of Mayodan; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four sisters, Laura Brown, Liz Parleir, Luanne Joyce, and Sylvia Brown, all of Eden; and brothers, George Brown of Oak Ridge and Joseph Brown of Greensboro.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service (1 - 2 PM) at Fair Funeral Home.
