Stanley "Booker" Harris, 81, of 521 "C" Street in Eden, passed away Friday morning, at his home.
A memorial service may be held at a later date.
Mr. Harris was born January 1, 1933 in Draper, NC, to the late Houston Petis Harris and Gertrude Troxler Harris. He was a US Navy veteran and a retiree of Brown and Root Construction. After retirement he worked as a temporary employee at several local mills.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Scott Harris and his step-son, Todd Dillon, both of the home.
