Brenda Boothe Land-Walker, 67, of 1960 Moir Mill Road in Eden but most recently of 1333 Farmbrook Road in Ridgeway, VA, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, July 24, 2014, at Select Specialty Hospital at Cone Health in Greensboro.
A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Monday at Fair Funeral Home Chapel.
Brenda was born February 19, 1947 in Pittsylvania County, VA, to the late Jesse Madison "Mac" Boothe and Mary Florence Allen Boothe. She was a member of Willis Memorial Baptist Church in Cascade and the retired owner of Pharmacy Land.
She is survived by her husband, Tim Walker of Florida; son, Scott Land and fiancee', Debra Hutchinson of Eden; five brothers, Frank Boothe of Eden, Ronald Boothe of Stoneville, Kenneth Boothe, Jerry Boothe, and Terry Boothe, all of Eden; and five sisters, Mary Boothe of Ridgeway, Geraldine Carter, Barbara Hand, Joann Denny and Janice Reese, all of Eden.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Boothe.
The family will receive friends Sunday evening, 6 - 8 PM, at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home of her sister, JoAnn Denny, 705 Summit Rd. Eden.
