- David,We all have searched to find the right words to say to you at this time. You know the right cmiaonbtion of words that will sound good and that will bring you great comfort during this time of loss. But you know full well that we can only speak from our hearts. Sometimes the words may not be as well articulated, but you know it's real and knowing you as I do, you will consider that of more value than any words we could trump together. Growing up, I used to think that when people spoke about life after death, it was just a way for them to deal with things they didn't understand. It wasn't true, it was just a coping mechanism. Then I came to know the Lord and realized it's not just something we tell ourselves. It's the living, breathing truth. There is more to it than just this three score and ten. Your grandmother is not sick anymore. She's not suffering anymore. She's whole now. Your grandmother is now experiencing the wonder of eternity with the Lord Jesus. She possesses the hope that we long for. Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Revelation 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. May the Lord be your strength during this time. And trust that we are here for you my brother. Straight up. You don't even have to wonder about that.
