Joann Hutchens Tart, 73, of 105 Tom Cat Trail in Reidsville, passed away Sunday night, June 8, 2014, at Duke University Hospital in Durham.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, June 11, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Reidsville.

Mrs. Tart was born June 18, 1940 in Bethany, NC, daughter of the late William and Elva Hutchens. She was a 10 year member of Impact Ministries and a 37 year old employee of Unifi.

She is survived by her daughters, Gina Rector and husband, William, and Sheila Stanley, both of Reidsville; three sons, Billy Joe Tart and fiancee', Samantha, Danny Barber, and Bruce Hutchens and wife, Cynthia, all of Reidsville; seven grandchildren; sister, Lucille Boaz of Reidsville; brother, Ray Hutchens and wife, Sue of Madison; and numerous nieces and nephews

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, 6 - 8 PM, at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home of her daughter, Gina Rector, 9401 NC 87, Reidsville, NC
