To the entire Grogan and Hicks family. My deepest sympathy to each and everyone of you for the passing of Polly. I've known her for all my life, growing up in Providence Baptist Church, attending school with Steve and being a part of the Hicks family. She was such a gem of a lady and I know will be missed tremendously but she is with her loving husband once again. May God provide peace and give you strength during this time. Love to all!!

I worked with Polly at the Fieldcrest Store during college summers in the early 70's. She quickly became one of my favorites. She was always willing to teach, help, and to be a sweet friend. I will always remember her beautiful smile and how she loved her dear husband and family. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. May God hold you close in the days ahead.

I am so sorry to hear of Polly's passing . She use to wait on my mom and myself at Children's Bazaar years ago , then when she worked at the Fieldcrest Store and as helpful as always. My mom (Shirley Pulliam) thought the world of her and so did I. All of you have my deepest sympathy.

Donnie and Wayne, Joan and I are so saddened to hear of the death of Pauline. I remember her being so very beautiful when you and I were growing up in Leaksville. I have quiet often thought of the Christmas holiday when all the Hick's children would come home to Mr. and Mrs. Hicks home and the joy I remember seeing there. Our loss is Heaven's gain.
