Helga - my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. I worked with Almeria while at Morehead many years ago. She was a special person and a wonderful nurse. I know she will be missed. I worked with you many years and never knew you were her sister (Starmount). Take care of yourself.

Think of you all during this time. Almeria was a great nurse who cared deeply about her patients. She will be greatly missed but is now no longer suffering or in pain. She is in the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We will all have the pleasure of seeing her again some day if we too are a child of God. Praying for the entire family during this time of grief.

Vencia, Celeste, Helga and family, I am sorry to hear about Almeria. I will be praying for you all during this time. I know that she was very caring as a nurse when I worked at MMH and hated to be the one to always tell me that I had to leave due to low census. She knew that I needed to work just the same as the nurses and aids. You all will be in my thoughts and prayers in the coming days. Cheryl Smith Mann

Dear Helga, Danny and Almeria's family: I went to work in the ER in 1989 at night. I could NOT have succeeded without Almeria. She quickly became a dear friend, someone I could confide in when my personal life was spiraling out of control. She was a mentor, role model and a LADY in the finest sense of the word. She taught me so much. I shall always remember her beautiful smile and her big heart and the love and compassion she gave to everyone. She will be missed but I know I shall reunite with her one day. My thoughts and prayers to all of you.
