Mark Steven Shropshire, 57, of 307 S. Hale St. in Eden passed away on Friday morning May 23, 2014 at Annie Penn Hospital in Reidsville.
A graveside service will be held 2 pm Tuesday at Dan View Cemetery.
Mark was born February 6, 1957 in Rockingham County. He was a security guard for Mabes Trucking Company.
Surviving are wife, Vicki Hickman Shropshire of the home; son, Josh Garrett and wife Carey of Wilmington, NC; parents, Ray and Helen Shropshire of Eden; sister, Debbie Adkins and husband Bill of Houston, TX; brother, Randy Shropshire and wife Crystal of Carolina Beach, NC; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 1 til 1:45 pm at Fair Funeral Home before processing to the cemetery.
May God wrap you in his loving arms and ease the pain you are feeling now. Our love and prayers are with you all. Mark was a special person and a good man. He will be missed.

I will always fondly remember those high school days with Mark Shropshire. We took driver's ed together with Coach Kittrell, and had so much fun driving around Leaksville, Spray, and Draper! To all the Shropshire family - I am so sorry for your loss - prayers for you all.
