Robert Frederick Taylor, 74, of 323 Monticello Street in Eden, passed away Sunday afternoon, May 11, 2014, at his home.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, May 14, at First Presbyterian Church in Eden. Burial will follow in Overlook Cemetery.
Mr. Taylor was born April 4, 1940 in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, son of the late Frederick and Catherine Kramar Taylor. He was a US Navy veteran and attended First Presbyterian Church in Eden. Mr. Taylor was a retiree of Prudential Insurance Company.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Fleming Taylor of the home; two sons, James Taylor and wife, Hiromi of Telford, PA and Jay Taylor and wife, Susan of Eden; daughter, Julia Taylor Boughton and husband, Scott of Manitou Springs, CO; four grandchildren, Miyuki Taylor, Jayson Taylor, Jamie Taylor and Jeffrey Taylor; two great-grandchildren, Sae Hok and Seyha Hok; sister, Doris Taylor; and brother, Donald Taylor and wife, Joan.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, 6 - 8 PM, at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the residence.

I am so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. Thoroughly enjoyed singing with him when we sang "The Messiah" at Christmas. He had a great bass voice and seemed to enjoy singing with us too. Praying for his family at this most difficult time.
