James Edward Hylton age 63 of 627 Wildflower Lane, Eden,passed away at his home on Wednesday March 19, 2014. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time.

Mr. Hylton was born December 5, 1950 in Hinton W.Virgina. He was a graduate of West Virgina University where he received a BS in Electrial Engineering and later received a Master's degree in Mining Engineering at Virginia Tech University.

He was a retired Dean in the Community College System and worked in several states including Rockingham Community College in Wentworth, NC.

Surviving are wife, Beryl Anne Norris Hylton; mother, Ella Breyer Hylton ;son, Christopher Hylton and the mother of his son, Anne T. Hylton.
