Oh, the memories! What a team your parents were.....and had such good food! As kids, there wasn't much to do in Eden, but the "Sealtest" was the place! My condolences to all of you in the loss of your sweet Mother!

My prayers go out to Fran, her siblings, other family members and friends. My mother is now 86 years old and still living on our home farm in MN. What a blessing to live to such an age! To have seen and experienced all the changes in technology over the years, to have 'been there' for all the amazing world events that occurred, but mostly to have lived a full and enjoyable life with the bounty of love of family and friends.

Frances, Sylvia, & John, I never go down Irving Ave. that I don't think of your Mother and Father. They were truly Eden (Leaksville) icons. The Sealtest was a meeting place for all young people in the area and none were ever turned away by Mr & Ms. Emory. Please accept my condolences and prayers. ms. Emory is with Mr. Emory now in a much better place.

Jennifer, My heart always breaks when we lose a loved one. We want time to stand still and nothing to change. Everyone is here and always will be but alas that does not happen. Hold strong! You have the future every Wednesday night with sweet Tyson. Snuggle that baby! Why is it only babies have that certain smell? Must be the newness.

Fran, Ed, Sylvia, and John, I am so honored to have known Mrs. Emory. She was a gracious southern lady. I'll never forget being in the kitchen while she fried chicken. It felt like home. That must have been one of her many gifts. She has left a loving and lovely legacy. Jerry and Darby join me in heartfelt condolences and in a celebration of a life well lived. Susan

To the Emory family, I to have wonderful memories of "Sealtest on Friday and Saturday night. No better place to meet friends and enjoy the wonderful hotdogs your Mom and Dad created. I have always judged hotdogs by the Sealtest hot dogs. Joan worked for your Mom and Dad while attending Tri-City/Morehead and has told me of the wonderful memories she has of your parents. All of you were blessed to have them as Mom and Dad. I entered the first grade with Jimmy at Leaksville Graded and graduated in the class of 55 with him at Tri-City. Enjoy there memory knowing that one day all of you can be with them again..........forever. God bless and keep you, Philip and Joan Martin
