Gail was a wonderful teacher who inspired many young people. I taught with her at Fieldale-Collinsville High School and she served on the faculty when my husband was principal there. She was always professional in her dealings with young people and with faculty members. I also worked with her at the Grace Network where she exhibited care and compassion for the clints with whom she worked. I offer sincere condolences to her family. You are in my prayers at this difficult time.7

Madame will be greatly missed!!! I took all of her French classes at Fieldale-Collinsville HS. Even when I did not believe in myself on taking the higher level French classes...she was there to kick my behind in gear and push me forward. She always wore a smile through those hallways and when time permitted...shared a laugh. God just received his jewel back and though we are sad without her...she is in the arms of Jesus! Rest in peace Madame...I loved the ground you walked on!!!

Madame Smith was such a great teacher. I had her at Fieldale-Collinsville High School for all four years of my high school French. So very sorry for your loss.

My heart breaks for the loss of this wonderful woman. There are no words to express how much I cared for her. It has been 20 years since I was in my last French class with her, however, I've never stopped learning from Madame. She has blessed my life and the lives of my children, by her love and graciousness. A true follower of Jesus; a beautiful example of the kind of person He calls us to be. While my francais has mostly been forgotten, she will never be. Grateful that through Christ's offer of salvation, we will again see each other. Je t'aime Madame. Je vous aime ?ɬ©ternellement et vous me manquerez toujours. My deepest sympathy and love for you, David and Julia. Thank you for sharing your wife/mama with the us.
