Lucinda Hill Hyler, 93, formerly of South Fieldcrest Road in Eden, passed away early Monday morning, February 17, 2014, at Morehead Nursing Center.

A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, February 19, at Danview Cemetery.

Mrs. Hyler was born October 22, 1920 in Stoneville, NC. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Jackson Hill and Lottie Snead Hill. She was a member of Immanuel Friends Church and a former employee of the Fieldcrest Store.

She is survived by her son, William H. Hyler and wife, Eleanor of Eden; three great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sisters, Frances Fulton of Eden and Jean Young of Pinnacle; and three brothers, Vernon Hill of Climax, Ronnie Hill of Eden, and Jason Hill of Kernersville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Hyler; grandson, Billy Hyler; and brother, Thomas Scott Hill

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service (1 - 2 PM) at Fair Funeral Home, before proceeding to Danview Cemetery for the service and other times at the home of her son, 117 Buchanan Street in Eden.
