Jacqueline "Jackie" Murphy Hall, 87, passed away Thursday morning, January 30, 2014, at Brian Center in Eden.
A graveside service will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, February 1, at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Hall was born May 12, 1926 in Spray, NC. She was the daughter of the late Coolie and Bessie Packard Murphy. Jackie was a member of Leaksville Christian Church and the past Worthy Matron of Eastern Star #136. Most recently she was a member of the Rose Chapter in Greensboro.
She is survived by her grandson, Jamie Swift and wife, Donna; great-grandson, Brent Swift; step-son, Dr. Lee Hall and wife, Ellen of Anderson, SC and their children, Everette, Lillie and Elliott Hall; and special friends and caregivers, Norma Jean and Harry McKinney of Eden.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, C. C. "Doc" Hall and her son, Leroy Swift.
The family will receive friends 45 minutes prior to the service on Saturday afternoon, 12 noon to 12:45 pm at Fair Funeral Home before traveling to Ridgeview Memorial Gardens for the service. At other times the family will meet at the home of Harry and Norma Jean McKinney, 244 Weaver Street in Eden.
