Rosa Lee Love Poteat, 91, passed away Saturday morning on January 25, 2014 at Morehead Nursing Center in Eden, NC.
Fair Funeral Home is assisting the family.
A memorial service will be held for Mrs. Poteat at a later date in Newell, NC in the Charlotte area.
Mrs. Poteat was born in LaGrange, GA on April 24, 1922 to the late Joseph and Maude Walker Love. She was a lifetime homemaker.
Preceding her in death along with her parents was her husband, William D. "Bill" Poteat; sister, Margaret L. Shumaker and brother Melvin L. Love.
Surviving are son, William E. "Bill" Poteat and wife Brenda Miles Poteat; grandchildren, Gary W. Poteat and Anthony W. Noles and wife Starr; great grandchildren, Bryce and Blake Noles; brother, Clarence "Doc" Love and wife Lorraine.
Memorials contributions may be made to Newell Presbyterian Church, Po Box 68, Newell, NC 28126 or to the First Baptist Church, 533 Greenwood Street, Eden,NC 27288.
