Robert Jerome Martin, age 80 of 156 Sugar Maple Drive, Browns Summit, passed away on Saturday January 18, 2014 at Moses Cone Hospital.
A graveside service will be held at 1 PM on Friday, January 24, at Overlook Cemetery.
Mr. Martin was born February 4, 1933 in the Spray section Eden to the late Howard and Ocie Archer Martin. He was of the Pentecostal Holliness faith. He enlisted and served proudly in the US Army in Korea where he earned the Purple Heart.
He is survived by his wife, Glenda Lloyd Martin of the home, sons, Robert David Martin and wife Julie of Julian, Thomas Lloyd Martin and Michael Kevin Martin of Browns Summitt.
