Dorothy Dean Priddy,78,formerly of Murray Dr. Eden, passed away Saturday January 4, 2014 at Morehead Nursing Center. A private burial will be held Tuesday at Overlook Cemetery.
Mrs. Priddy was born on December 16, 1935 to the late William and Annie Haizlip Dean and was retired from Fieldcrest Mills.
Dorothy is survived by daughters; Jewel Bailey of Statesville and Wendy Harris of Eden, five grandchildren; James Rogers Jr. of Eden, Michael Harris of Salisbury, Joni Grubbs of Eden, Sierra Barrow of Daytona Beach, Fla., Matthew Bailey of Statesville, 7 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Garland Junior Priddy, brothers ;Clinton Dean and Robert Dean.
