Frances Jones Biggs, 74, of 230 E. Harris Place in Eden, passed away Thursday morning, January 2, 2014, at her home.
A visitation only will be held from 5 - 7 PM on Saturday, January 4, at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home of her daughter, Dorinda, 140 Pine Knot Drive in Eden.
Mrs. Biggs was born July 19, 1939 in Draper, NC. She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Maggie Sutphin Jones. Mrs. Biggs enjoyed painting, crocheting, and doing needlepoint.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Frederick Biggs; and daughter, Bonnie Rutledge.
She is survived by her two daughters, Dorinda "Kay" Johnson and husband, Ted, and Rhonda Wright and husband, Jeff, both of Eden; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; father of her children, Andrew Rutledge; sisters, Julia Roach of Eden and Nancy David of California; and brother Joe Jones of Nicaragua.
