Diane Webb Hicks, 68, of 3710 Cotswold Avenue in Greensboro, passed away Monday, December 9, 2013, at her home.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Ms. Hicks was born October 9, 1945, in Leaksville, NC. She was the daughter of the late Isaac John Webb and Margaret Luck Webb. Diane was the Deputy Clerk of Court for Guilford County Criminal Superior Court for 35 years.
She is survived by her brother, Dexter Webb, of Sandy Ridge, NC.

Dexter my heart just sank when I seen that Diane had passed. I have so many wonderful memories of us growing up together. When I think of those times and some of the crazy things we did, a smile comes to my face. Those memories will be in my heart forever. My thoughts and prayers are with you at the difficult time. Dear Dexter, I'm so sorry for your loss. Diane and I became friends when we were neighbors at British Lake and remained close. I spoke with her a few weeks ago and she seemed so happy. Diane was a kind, caring friend and I will really miss her. I know she loved you very much, and you were in her prayers constantly. She's now in her Father's arms where she wanted to be.
