Nancy Hopkins, 75, of 1924 Woodrow Avenue in Eden, passed away late Thursday evening at Morehead Hospital. Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 2:00 pm at First Wesleyan Church in Eden with burial to follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
Nancy was born in Spray(now Eden) to the late Lidge and Lois Sams Bryant. She was a member of First Wesleyan Church and was previously employed at Bassett-Walker & Corning Glass Co.
Surviving are her Husband, Howard; two Daughters, Robin Wilson and husband, Robert of Sophia, NC and Jill Haapala and husband, Mark of Anaheim, California; One son, Kirk Hopkins of Greensboro,NC; Six grandchildren and Two great-grandchildren; Three sisters, Gloria B. Wilkins of Eden, Murial B. Caldwell of Murrells Inlet, SC and Margaret B. Stump of Eden; Four brothers, Benson A. Bryant of Murrells Inlet, SC, Billy Bryant of Eden, Ronnie E. Bryant Collinsville, VA and Wayne Bryant of Bassett, VA. In addition to her parents,She was preceded in death by her Brother, Phillip W. Bryant, Great- Granddaughter, Brianna D. Edwards.
A visitation will be held at Fair Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 5 til 7 pm and at other times at her home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to: First Wesleyan Church Building Fund, 607 Church St, Eden, NC 27288.

Nancy was such a wonderful Christian lady who suffered way too much. However her faith in God was always present on her face. We, the Stowe Family, will greatly miss her smiling face and encouraging words. Prayers for all the Hopkins, Bryants and other family and friends that are in sorrow today. She is in no pain and enjoying Heaven. God Bless each of you.
