As I remember Bill Shreve I think back to his stories of his time in Korea during that conflict and his battle to get his degree at Elon. I also remember many Saturdays play golf. Not to long before he got sick we spent some time in the yard just talking which Bill was a master at. He was a Christian gentleman who will be missed.

Dear Peggy, Robin and family, I am so sorry to hear about Bill. I worked with Bill at WWMO in the 1990's. I was the bookkeeper and he was the DJ. He was a joy to work with and always had us laughing. He loved the Lord and wanted to tell others about Jesus. I know that you have many memories that you will cherish. I am praying for you all. Cheryl Smith Mann

Deepest sympathy to the family, but you have peace knowing he is with The Lord. My Daddy, Otis Hundley shared the press box for broadcasts of Morehead High School games for years. Bill is an important part of my Eden memories. He was a good and interesting man.

I am terribly sorry for your loss. I remember Bill as a very kind man. He worked with my mother and father,Ruth and Gene Smith at WIFM until my father decided to move to Atlanta in 1959. Dad was the station manager, salesman, announcer and engineer. My mother was the secretary. I will let my mother know about Bill as we do talk about those days in Elkin. I recall them as happy ones. Again, my condolence on your loss.
