Lenfield Delano Gilley, age 78 of 406 Wedgewood Court, Eden, passed away at his home on Friday evening November 22, 2013.

A funeral service will be held 2 pm Monday at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with entombment to follow at the family mausoleum in Dan View Cemetery.

Mr. Gilley was born August 25, 1935 in Rockingham County to the late Jesse and Frances Stone Gilley. He was a US Army Veteran and attended Fieldcrest Road Church of God and Aiken Summit Wesleyan Church. Lenfield was a self-employed Landlord.Prior to this he worked on international oil rigs for over 30 years.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Susie and 9 brothers and sisters.

Surviving is his wife, Puay Lan "Katherine" Gilley of the home; daughters, Abigail Gilley Winstead and husband Jeff of Eden and Deborah Jordan of Mangham, LA; sons, Len D. Gilley; Jr. of Texas; Mike Gilley and wife Kay of Rayville, LA; David Gilley and Bill Gilley of Eden; sisters, Becky Blackburn, Pat Patterson and husband Kenneth of Eden; Kay Bountempo and husband John of Madison; brother, Paul Gilley and wife Connie of Eden; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 1 til 2 pm at Fair Funeral Home.
