Sandy Scott Carter, 66, of 133 Nation Dr., Ruffin, NC passed away Thursday November 21, 2013 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, NC.

There will be a graveside service held Monday November 25, 2pm at Ridge-View Memorial Gardens in Eden. Fair Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Sandy Carter was born January 14, 1947 to the late Helen Scott Booth in Leaksville, NC. She worked for several years at Evans Warehouse, and then transfered to C.W.I. Warehousing where she worked for over 10 years as a forklift operator. Surviving are her husband Dennis P. Carter, Sr. of the home, son Paul Carter of Ruffin, NC, daughter Angie Turner and husband Sam Turner, Jr. of Eden, NC, sisters Pat Cannon and husband Danny of Eden, NC, Sue Barker and husband Eddie of Stoneville, NC, five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her son Rodney Paul Carter.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening 6 until 8pm at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home.
