I am extremely saddened to hear of Wayne's passing. I was a classmate and teammate of Wayne's on the football team for three years and there was no finer gentleman on this earth. He will be missed by us all. His smile and enthusiasm in life was infectious. I can't say enough about Wayne to do him justice in describing what a great guy he was!! Heaven is getting a true STAR. My condolences and prayers to the family. Clarence Rogers

Wayne and I were good friends in high school. We worked together at Karastan in the data processing department for four years. Later, Wayne and I consulted together for five years as independent IT consultants. I will miss him dearly, but I have many happy memories we shared. Helen worked for me for a couple of years, and Brenda and I spent time with Wayne and Helen at their home. It is so sad to lose someone with whom you have shared so much. I truly believe that God has called Wayne home for His purpose. I pray He will comfort and lend strength to Helen, Andy, Amy, and all his family during this difficult and trying time. It is my prayer that, in due time, they will remember Wayne as he was; a good man and father who loved his family and loved life. Wayne, you will always remain in our hearts.

Helen, Andy, Amy and other family members, my thoughts and prayers are with each of you as we all absorb this loss. Wayne was special in so many ways. He enjoyed life, spread his joy to others, had a generous heart. He will be missed. May God grant each of you peace and serenity in his "homegoing", and a place in heaven next to Wayne. This is such sad news. Anytime I ever met a fellow classmate, and we started reminiscing about our high school days, Wayne's name was always among the very first mentioned and the comment that followed was always, "He was and still is one of the nicest people you will ever meet". Those of us that had the privilege of knowing Wayne have such fond memories, and we are better for the experience. Helen, so many of us are praying that God will give you and your family strength and comfort as you deal with this otherwise unbearable loss. God bless you. Linda

Wayne and I were both members of the 1961 graduating class at Morehead High School. I remember him as being very kind, sweet and easy going. The last time I saw Wayne was at the 50th Reunion of our class. The smile was the same, the friendliest the same as fifty years before... To Helen and other members of Wayne's family, I offer my very deepest sympathy and a prayer that God will give you peace in your hearts as you grieve the devastating loss of this wonderful man.
