Regina Ann Coleman Allen, 78, of Eden, passed away Sunday November 10, 2013 at Morehead Memorial Hospital. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial to follow at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Allen was born in McDowell Co. in West Virginia on October 12, 1935 to the late Emmett and Lydia Patterson Coleman, and attented Christian View Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Regina is survived by her daughter; Myra A. Barrettt of Eden, sons; Daryl L. Allen of Stoneville, William "Deane" Allen and wife Susan of Stoneville, Danny L. Allen and wife Janet of Stokesdale, grandchildren; Shirley A. Roach of Eden, Alex Allen of Mayodan, Megan Allen of Stokesdale, and Matthew Allen of Alexandria, Minnesota, and 2 great grandchildren, brother; Paul W. Coleman of Eden, sister; Alice Glover of Denton, NC
In addition to her parents Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her husband, William Jett Allen and son,David L. Allen and brothers; James W., Junior,and Charles Coleman; sister, Lucy C. Ward.
Memorials may be made to American Diabetic Association or American Lung Association.
Visitation will be Monday evening 7-9 p.m. at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home of the son, Deane Allen 381 Anglin Mill Rd. Stoneville, N.C.
