Words can not express how heavy my heart is today. I've had the great fortune of knowing Cindy for over 30 yrs.She was working at the hospital when I came there in 1979. She always had a hug and a smile for me. She never thought she was better than her staff. She would get out there and work right with them. I've seen her work days then go home and come back and work that night. She loved her job and she especially loved her family. God gained a true Angel today. Heaven is a little brighter. Tell Mammie Johnson I said hello.

It is always difficult to lose someone who has been in your life for a long time. The Johnsons were part of my family for 30 years, sharing many fun events, sad times, support, etc. So to my fellow brother, my heart is saddened for your family today, for their is no words that will make the pain any less, but God's presence will fill this empty void to help you get through it. My prayers are with you.

During this time of your unsuspected loss I extend my deepest condolences to the entire family. It was truly a shock in which my heart aches for you all. Cindy was a loving, devoted wife and mother, which was top priority on her list of her many achievements in her life. Cindy was such a kind person always able to give a smile and never made anyone feel less of a person. If our country required a Queen, Cindy would surly have filled those shoes well, for she was elegant yet down to earth as well. God has her in his heavenly kingdom now with her crown watching over all her loved ones. May the Lord ease the pain in what so many of her family and friends are having to bear. Prayers are with you always.

Skip, Andy and Sandy, just like everyone else my heart is heavy today at the loss of such a beautiful loving person. Cindy took me off the street having no knowledge of what Respiratory was all about and took a chance and gave me a job. For 11and a half years I had the pleasure of working with her and everyone is right, if you needed help she would get right in there with you. I remember when I started working nights I was scared to be involved in a "code"situation but she told me when there was one she would be right there with me through it. Sure enough with her and Dr Mutch they both guided me through it and from then on I could handle it. One of my most fond memories of her was when we went to the Country Music Festival in Nashville. I had a broken little toe but for "hours" she was determined that we were going to stand in line until we got a picture with Vince Gill and his autograph. We did it and I shrugged through the pain, but that was Cindy, when she made her mind up it was very little chance of changing it. Heaven truly gained another angel and my thoughts and prayers will be with all of you today and always. May God bless all of you and give you the strength you need to get through this.

We were truly blessed as a group to have the privelege of working for and with Cindy. Her kindness and love for her staff was obvious to all. As our manager she was a mentor, a motivator, and a champion for all her staff. She was known and respected by all for her integrity and compassion. It is truly unimaginable to think of what we will do without her strength, care and guidance in the months to come. She made us a family, and we loved her so. Skip, Andy, Sandy, thank you for sharing her with us. And to the entire family you will remain in our hearts and prayers.

Skip, Andy, and Sandy There are no words to help ease your pain right now. Just remember how much she loved you all and how much everyone loved her! What a tribute to such a wonderful lady. What I remember most about Cindy is that it didn't matter to her how much money you had, how much prestige you had, what church you went to, or who was around when she saw you, she always had a big smile and would stop to say hello. She was so genuine and caring. I will always be grateful to have had the privilege to have called her my friend. You know how to get in touch with me if you need me. Love you all.

I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Cindy's sudden passing. I have been a nurse on second floor and have known her for 28 years. My prayers go out to the family and to her Morehead family. She was a great asset to MMH. She was one of the most compassionate people that I have ever met. She always had that bright smile and she never passed me in the hall without smiling and saying hi. I just saw her the other morning and she smiled and said hi Carolyn. Morehead will not be the same without her smiling face.

I just got home from Cindy's Funeral Service. It was crowded to say the least and I couldn't even see the monitor which was set up in the lobby but I could hear the service. I am so proud of my Friend Skip Johnson, Skip got up and spoke about his Beloved wife and told of the poems he wrote for her on birthday's and anniversaries. It was tough for Skip but it was so special to hear just how much he loved his Bride and Family. I got choked up and couldn't even see him. Skip, once again I say I'm very proud of you and proud to call you a friend. God Bless you and the whole Family. Jim Watson.

Dear Skip, I am so sad to hear of Cindy's passing. I know she was your vibrant partner who always kept life interesting. I pray that you will find comfort in the Lord and in knowing that Cindy is happy in heaven. May God grant you extra measures of peace at this difficult time.

Each of you are in our prayers daily. So glad we were able to spend a little time with you all a few weeks earlier. Cindy's contagious smile is the first thing I remember when she comes to mind. I know God will be faithful in meeting all your needs, and in bringing peace and strength to each of you. Each of you will and have been in our prayers for years. My dad taught me well to bring each family members name before The Lord when praying. My greatest regret is not asking and knowing more about our heritage. I have something for you that I hope will give you as much peace as it has given me. Please send me your zip code and give hugs for Sandy and Andy. Our tele. Is (843) 875-4344. Would love to talk with you, but can't get hold of Sherry long enough to get your number, and Randy cannot find the piece of paper he wrote it down on. Love and prayers continue to be lifted on your family's behalf, daily.
