Mildred Andrews Eggleston, 93, passed away Monday, December 3, 2018, at North Pointe of Mayodan.  

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, December 5, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home and other times at the home of her son, Ron, 1125 Rhodes Road in Eden.

Mrs. Eggleston was born May 2, 1925 in Rockingham County, NC, to the late Manuel and Callie Cheek Andrews.  She was a retiree of Fieldcrest Mills.

Surviving are her two children, Ron Eggleston and wife, Jackie, of Eden and JoAnn Eggleston Farmer of Stoneville;  three grandchildren;  six great-grandchildren;  brother, Frank Andrews of Danville, VA;  and close friends, Lynn and Sandra Barnes of Eden.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Herbert Eggleston.
