Obituary For Robert Edward Justus
September 13, 1943 - August 1, 2018

Robert Edward Justus, 74, of 209 Fairway Drive in Eden, went to his heavenly home on Wednesday morning, August 1, 2018, surrounded by family at his home.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, August 4, at Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Reidsville with burial to follow in Oakdale Cemetery in Hendersonville, NC, arriving at approximately 3:30 pm. The family will receive friends Friday evening, 6 - 8 PM at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the residence.

Mr. Justus was born September 13, 1943 in Hendersonville, NC,  to the late Dorris "Jack" Justus and Myra Kluttz Justus.  He was a graduate of Clemson University and was, quite possibly, the Clemson Tigers #1 fan.  Robert retired from Rockingham Community College where he enjoyed his work very much.  He also worked for Burlington Industries and was an expert wood worker.  What he enjoyed the most in life was being with his family and there was nothing he would not do for them.  He was the type of father and husband that was given by God.  He will be sorely missed by all his family and a host of friends.  Through all the agony in his past couple of years, he would never fail to say "I'm good.  God has been good to me."  He was a true inspiration and God got his angel back.  - - We will see you soon.  We love you Robert!

He is survived by his wife, Diane Grose Justus of the home;  Lorrie James (David) of Florence, SC, Natalie Smith (Frank) of Mocksville and Rachel Mills (Trevor) of Oak Ridge, and grandchildren, Leah James, Austen Gobble, Shaun Smith, and Kaylie, Reagan and Brandon Mills;  and sister-in-law, Jo Justus.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Mark Brian Justus; step-mother, Natalie Jones Justus;  and siblings, Charles "Donald" Justus, Sara Elizabeth Justus Carter, Evelyn Kluttz Justus Mills, Dorothy Mae Justus, and Thomas Justus.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The National Pancreas Foundation, 3 Bethesda Metro Center, Suite 700, Bethesda, MD  20814.
