Larry Douglas Clifton, 62, of 109 Bob Trail in Stoneville, passed away Sunday afternoon, October 22, 2017, at his home.

There will be no formal service.

Larry was born March 9, 1955 in Rockingham County, NC.  He was a US Navy veteran and a truck driver for Mabe's Trucking Company.

Surviving are his two children, Willie Clifton of Stoneville and Ashley Hicks and husband, Joshua of Georgia;  grandchildren, Hunter and James Bare; parents, Billy and Shelby Hensley Clifton of Georgia;  brothers, Bill Clifton, Jr. of Georgia and Darryl Clifton of Colorado;  sister, Teresa Scarboro of Georgia;  ex-wife, Toni Shelton of Stoneville; and sister-in-law, Brenda Shelton of Eden.

He was preceded in death by twin brother, Gary Clifton and brother, Roger Clifton.

The family requests that memorial donations be made to Fair Funeral Home, PO Box 337, Eden, NC  27289, to assist with the cost of services.
