Doris Virginia Shelton Hopper, 82, passed away at Carolina Estates in Greensboro on May 24, 2017. There will be no formal memorial service.

Doris was born on May 28, 1934 in Spray North Carolina to the late Robert Shelton, and Lula Kelly Shelton. She was previously an instuctor at Rockingham Community College.

Mrs. Hopper is survived by her daughters, Sabrina Gibson and Rochelle Powers (Harry Thomas Powers); and granddaughter Julia Powers.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband Herbert Gorman Hopper.
