Obituary For Irene Ethier Haynes
November 26, 1934 - April 7, 2017


Irene Ethier Haynes, 82, of Long Road, passed away early Friday morning, April 7, 2017, at Hospice Home of Rockingham County.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, April 9, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with Father Joe Dinh officiating.  Burial will follow in Ridgeview Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends Saturday evening, 6 - 8 PM, at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home of Mrs. Haynes, 108 Long Road.

Mrs. Haynes was born on November 26, 1934 in Woonsocket, Rhode Island to the late Fabiola Rochefort Lemay Ethier and Andrew Ethier.  She was a member of St. Joseph of the Hills Catholic Church.

Irene had a great talent for knitting and crocheting.  She gave away of lot of her creations to others.  She loved music.  She could play the piano, organ and accordion.  She previously played the organ at her church.  Irene was an excellent cook and had many family gatherings at her house throughout the years.  She and her family have a special love for The Outer Banks of North Carolina.  Many hours were spent fishing from Jeannette's Pier and "The Little Bridge" in Nags Head.  She will be missed but never forgotten.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Thomas Haynes of Eden;  brothers, Raymond Lemay of Woonsocket, RI and Normand Lemay of Providence, RI.

Mrs. Haynes is survived by her daughters, Denise Walker and husband, Jerry of Eden, Diane Migliore and husband, John of Parkersburg, West Virginia;  son, Michael Haynes and wife, Jennifer of Eden;  five grandchildren, Angela Smart and husband, Jason of Eden, Lori Wall and husband, Tony of Brown Summit, Heather Towner and husband, Tommy of Mt. Holly, Krystal Luegers and husband, Taylor of Stoneville, and Michael Thomas Migliore of Parkersburg, West Virginia;  three great-grandchildren, Brayden Smart of Eden, Kyleigh and Cameron Wall of Brown Summit and two great-grandchildren arriving in late May and early June, Cayden Thomas Towner of Mt.Holly and Rowan Parker Luegers of Stoneville;  and one sister, Cecile Ethier of Woonsocket, RI.
