Danny Thomas Harris, 62, of Eden, NC passed away, Wednesday evening, March 15, 2017, surrounded by his family and friends.

A celebration of his life will be held at 4 pm on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at Osborne Baptist Church, Eden, NC.

Danny was born on December 21, 1954, Leaksville, NC to Obera Boulding Harris and the late Harold Thomas Harris.  He was a member of Osborne Baptist Church where he had served as a Deacon.  He was employed by Penske Corporation in Greensboro, NC.  Danny loved spending time with his family and adored his children and grandchildren.  He enjoyed racing, fishing, baseball and woodworking.  He loved to travel extensively with his wife and going to new places.  

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Pam Eggleston Harris of the home; son, Jason Harris (Beth) of Eden; daughter, Julie Combs (Nick) of Eden; four grandchildren, Mallory, Alyssa, Brantley and Danielle; his mother, Obera Harris of Eden; and several aunts.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the Church and other times at the home.

Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made in Danny’s memory to Osborne Baptist Church, Faith Factor Building Fund, 326 E. Stadium Drive, Eden, NC  27288.
