Doris "Ralphine" Angle Hyler, 84, formerly of Eden, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2016, at Universal Health Care in Fletcher, NC.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, July 6, at Immanuel Friends Church in Eden.  Burial will follow in Danview Cemetery.

Mrs. Hyler was born May 1, 1932 in Spray, NC, to the late Ralph and Deloris Dillon Angle.  She was a 1949 graduate of Schoolfield High School and a long-time member of Immanuel Friends Church.

She is survived by her two sons, Paul Edward Hyler, Jr. (Susan) of Asheville and James Wallace Hyler (Jane) of Hendersonville;  granddaughters, Lora Hyler and Georgia Hyler;  brother, Wallace Angle of Danville;  sisters, Mickie Shield of Black Stone, VA and Brenda Mason of Richmond, VA;  and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Edward Hyler and sister, Valina Minter.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, 6 - 8 PM, at Fair Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to Immanuel Friends Church, 502 S. Fieldcrest Road, Eden, NC 27288.
