Berkley Ronald "Ronnie" Motley, age 81 of 736 Westerley Park Road, Eden, passed away May 28, 2016 at his home.    

 

A funeral service will be held  11 AM on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Hickory Grove United Methodist Church.  Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery.

 

Mr. Motley was born on October 4, 1934 to the late Frank and Clensie Motley.  He was a member of Hickory Grove United Methodist Church.  Mr. Motley enjoyed fishing, Bowling and Gardening.  He retired from Karastan Rug Mill.

 

Mr. Motley is survived by his beloved wife, Ann Hazelwood Motley of the home; sons, Kenneth Motley of Eden and Michael Motley (Deborah) of Hickory, NC; sister, Doris Stephens of Danville, niece, Susan Lail of Albemarle; grandchildren, Caleb and Kayla Motley.  Along with his parents he was preceded in death by brother, Raymond Motley and sister, Elsie Lail. 

 

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from (10 – 11 AM) at the church and other times at the home.
