Frances Wine Meeks, age 85, formerly of Eden, NC went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Jacobs Creek Nursing and Rehab Center in Madison, NC.

 

A Funeral service to celebrate the life of Frances will be held at Fair Funeral Home Chapel at 2pm Monday  with entombment to follow at Overlook Mausoleum. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1 -2 pm.

 

She was born in Fincastle, Virginia to the late Jake Wine and Annie Phelps Wine. She was a life long resident of Rockingham County, a homemaker and of Baptist faith.

 

In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by three brothers, Harry Wine, Raymond and Bernard Wine.

 

Frances is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Linberg Charles Meeks; two sisters, Sadie Spencer and Lula Davis; several nieces and nephews.
