Obituary For Bethel "Beck" Albert Thomasson March 9, 1932 - September 15, 2015 Bethel "Beck" Albert Thomasson, 83, passed away Tuesday evening, September 15, 2015 at Morehead Memorial Hospital. A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Friday, September 18, at Woodlawn Cemetery. Mr. Thomasson was born March 9, 1932 in Rockingham County, NC to the late Jesse Frank Thomasson and Winnie Curry Thomasson. He was a US Air Force veteran and a member of Ellett Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church. Mr. Thomasson worked as a barber for many years. Surviving are seven nephews, Bill Bailey, Jimmy Bailey, Tim Bailey, Jay Thomasson, Tracey Thomasson, Darryl Thomasson, and Sam Alcorn; and his niece, Jo Dell Murphy In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth Bailey; and brothers, Ernest "Pex" Thomasson and Herman "Hank" Thomasson. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Brian Center, Morehead Nursing Center and Morehead Memorial Hospital. And a special thanks to his caregiver, Mary Boyd.
