Obituary For Mary Catherine Cox Robertson September 24, 1925 - April 25, 2015 Mary Catherine "Cat" Cox Robertson, 89, of Eden NC passed away on Saturday April 25, 2015 at Morehead Memorial Hospital. A graveside service will be held 2PM Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Overlook Cemetery. Mrs. Robertson was born September 24, 1925 in the Leaksville section of Eden to the late John Daniel and Mary Burchell Cox. She was an avid animal lover and contributed regularly to Friends of the Eden Animal Shelter. She was the former owner and operator of "Cat's Place". Preceding her in death along with her parents were husband Bobby Robertson, one brother Elwood Cox, three sisters Lois Cox, Lillie Bibey, and Pauline McPeak, and infant daughter Ann Adkins. Surviving are nine nieces, one nephew and numerous cousins, and special friend Joyce Carter. Visitation will be held on Monday evening 6-8PM at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home of Joan and Barry Bailey, 249 Fairway Drive in Eden.
