Obituary For Phillip Arlen Hedgepeth, Jr. July 4, 1961 - March 23, 2015 Phillip Arlen Hedgepeth, Jr., 53, of 631 Fagge Drive, passed away Monday evening, March 23, 2015, at his home. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, March 26, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Overlook Cemetery. Mr. Hedgepeth was born July 4, 1961 in Wilson, NC. He attended Summit Road Church of God and was a former employee of Carolina Fire Control. Phillip was survived by his wife, Esther Barker Hedgepeth of Eden; mother, Maureen Ruffin Craig of the home; sons, Phillip Hedgepeth and wife, Denise, David Hedgepeth and fiancee, Dawn Hooker, Daniel Hedgepeth, and Gabriel Hedgepeth, all of Eden; ; step-son, Josh Ziglar of Eden; eight grandchildren; brother, Michael Hedgepeth and wife, Jeannie of Eden; three sisters, Kim Cruise and husband, Jon of Stoneville, Cassandra Sexton and Beth Hedgepeth, both of Eden; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Phillip Arlen Hedgepeth, Sr.; step-father, Don Craig; and mother-in-law, Ann Bradsher.
