Obituary For Frederick "Fred" B. Hudgins March 2, 1945 - February 27, 2015 Frederick "Fred" Boone Hudgins age 69 of Julian, NC passed away on Friday February 27, 2015 at Hospice of Greensboro. A memorial service will be held on Saturday March 7, 2015 at First Church of the Brethren in Eden, NC at 11 a.m with burial to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 till 11 a.m. prior to the service. Fred was born March 2, 1945 in Rockingham County to the late Harry Van Hudgins and Ellen Miles Hudgins. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Fred retired from Karastan Rug Mill in Eden. Preceding him in death along with his parents was a brother, Coy Van Hudgins. Surviving are wife, Faye Batts Hudgins of the home; daughter, Heather Cohn and husband Stefan of Richmond, VA; son, Bryan Crumby and wife Sarah of Julian, NC.; sister, Frances Cox of Myrtle Beach, SC; sister in law, Joan Campbell and husband Dennis; grandchildren, Rebekah, William and David Crumby, Logan, Gaby, and Brody Cohn; numerous neices and nephews.
