Obituary For Iris Rickman Ford July 2, 1917 - January 10, 2015 Iris Bowling Rickman Ford 97, passed away Saturday, Jan 10, 2015 in Lexington, NC. A Graveside service will be at 3pm Tuesday at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens, Eden, NC with visitation to follow. She was born July 2, 1917 in Stuart, Va. to Benjamin Able Rickman and Lessie Jean Bowling Rickman. She was a member of the Leaksville Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Frank Ford, two sisters, Irma Tulloch, and Ruth Tulloch Jacoby, two brothers B A Rickman Jr,and Richard Rickman. She is survived by three daughters, Jean Koontz (Lee) of Lexington, Libby Selby (Bill) of Mint Hill, and Susan Chaney (Barry) of Eden., six grandchildren, Susan Selby of Charlotte, Ellen Hendrix (Monty) of Greensboro, Lee Koontz Jr (Sharon) of Thomasville, Kef Koontz (Vickie) of Lexington, Robin Stripling (David) of Lexington, Wes Koontz (Judy) of Lexington. 10 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
