Obituary For Mildred Hylton Minter October 17, 1926 - December 31, 2014 Mildred Hylton Minter, 88, of 604 S. Fieldcrest Road, passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2014, at Morehead Memorial Hospital. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, January 3, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Danview Cemetery. Mrs. Minter was born October 17, 1926 in Henry County, VA, to the late Greeley and Lena H. Hylton. She attended First Baptist Church of Draper. She is survived by brothers, Frank Hylton of Woolwine, VA and James Hylton and wife, Marena, of Woolwine, VA; nieces, Brenda Hylton of Ridgeway, VA, Becky Hylton of Woolwine, VA, and Patti Slaughter and husband, Sidney of Fieldale, VA; nephews, O'Bain Hylton and wife, Linda of Bassett, VA, Douglas Hylton and wife, Lisa, of Lexington, NC and Barry Hylton of Boston, MA; wife of deceased nephew, Daisy Hylton; and numerous grand-nieces and grand-nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Henry Minter; nephew, Dillard Hylton; and brother, Willie Hylton and wife, Virginia.
