Obituary For Elizabeth "Lib" Boyd Sapp October 26, 1925 - November 9, 2014 Elizabeth "Lib" Boyd Sapp, 89, of 725 Taylor Street in Eden, passed away Sunday evening, November 9, 2014, at Morehead Nursing Center. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, November 12, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Lawson Cemetery. Mrs. Sapp was born October 26, 1925 in Rockingham County, to the late Edwin C. and Elizabeth Robertson Boyd. She was a member of First Baptist Church and a retiree of Fieldcrest Mills after 40 years of service. She is survived by her husband, John Philip Sapp of the home; daughter, Margaret Doyle and husband, Wayne, of Eden; two grandchildren, Michael West and Heather Cribb, both of Eden. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Katherine Mercer. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Wednesday (1 - 2 PM) at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the residence, 725 Taylor Street.
