Obituary For Bobby Gates DeHart July 12, 1938 - November 3, 2014 Bobby Gates DeHart, 76, of 1526 Lincoln Street in Eden, passed away Monday, November 3, 2014, at his farm. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, November 6, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Overlook Cemetery. Mr. DeHart was born July 12, 1938 in Rockingham County to the late John Gates DeHart and Clara Fay Burgart DeHart. He was a graduate of Morehead High School, Class of 1957 and a member of the Eden Moose Lodge. Mr. DeHart worked for Karastan Rug Mill. He is survived by his sister, Dora Ann Atha of the home; brother, Frank DeHart of Eden; nieces, Valerie, Waulene Fay, Lisa and Tanya; and nephews, Byron, Joseph, and Eric. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Earl Wayne DeHart and Joe Burgart DeHart. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, 6 - 8 PM, at Fair Funeral Home.
