Obituary For Martha "Diane" Hawkins October 28, 1942 - September 20, 2014 Martha "Diane" Holt Hawkins, 71, of 105 Leffew Drive in Eden, passed away Saturday morning, September 20, 2014, at her home. A funeral service will be held at Fair Funeral Home Chapel at 1 pm on Monday with burial to follow at Overlook Cemetery. A native of RockinghamCounty, Mrs. Hawkins was born October 28, 1942, to the late Burlie Lee Holt and Lucy Ellen Joyce Holt. She is survived by her husband, Frank D. Hawkins, of the home; four sons, "Keith" Hill and wife Cindy , Terry Hill and Mark Hill all of Stoneville, Darryl Hill and wife Lesley of Myrtle Beach: daughter, Jennifer Hawkins of Eden; and brother, Larry Lee Holt; 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, numerous neices and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two sisters, Burla Mae Holt and Carlene Holt Palmer. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm on Sunday and other times at the home.
